Shipping Policy
At Snyder’s Certified Auto & Truck Parts, we are committed to delivering quality recycled OEM parts safely, accurately, and as quickly as possible. This Shipping Policy outlines our shipping methods, timelines, customer responsibilities, and how we handle delivery issues.
1. Shipping Methods & Delivery Options
We deliver parts using multiple methods depending on size, destination, and urgency:
Snyder’s Delivery Fleet – Local and regional deliveries through our scheduled delivery routes and transfer trucks.
Parcel Carriers – UPS, FedEx, or similar carriers for smaller items.
Freight Carriers (LTL) – Engines, transmissions, body panels, and other large or heavy items requiring palletized freight shipment.
Most large items ship via freight with curbside delivery unless other arrangements are made in advance.
2. Order Processing & Shipping Timeline
Orders placed before 3pm central are typically processed the same business day, pending:
Part availability
Payment confirmation
Completion of required preparation (inspection, draining fluids, packaging, etc.)
Estimated delivery timing:
Local Snyder’s delivery routes: 1 day based on scheduled route days and transfer truck timing
Parcel shipping: Typically, 2–7 business days depending on location
Freight shipments: 2–7 business days, delivery based on carrier schedule and distance
Please note: delivery times are estimates, not guarantees.
3. Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are based on:
Size and weight of the part
Delivery distance and method
Packaging and handling requirements
Freight carrier surcharges (if applicable)
Additional freight fees may apply, including:
Liftgate service
Residential delivery
Limited access locations
Inside delivery or special handling
Customers are responsible for all shipping charges unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Tracking & Delivery Communication
Tracking information is provided on request when available for parcel shipments.
Freight shipments include carrier contact information and delivery scheduling.
Snyder’s route deliveries follow scheduled delivery windows communicated by your sales representative when possible.
5. Inspection at Delivery (VERY IMPORTANT)
All shipments must be inspected at time of delivery.
If there is visible damage:
Note the damage on the delivery receipt
Take clear photos of packaging and part
Notify Snyder’s immediately
Failure to document damage at delivery may limit our ability to file a carrier claim.
6. Shipping Delays
While we make every effort to meet delivery expectations, delays may occur due to:
Weather conditions
Road or route interruptions
Freight carrier scheduling
Volume surges
Operational or mechanical issues
Snyder’s is not responsible for consequential losses caused by shipping delays, including shop downtime or scheduling impacts.
We strongly encourage customers to confirm delivery before scheduling installation work.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must:
Provide accurate shipping and contact information
Ensure someone is available to receive freight deliveries
Confirm delivery requirements (liftgate, residential, etc.) prior to shipment
Inspect parts immediately upon delivery
If an order is returned due to incorrect address, refusal, or inability to deliver, re-delivery costs will be the customer’s responsibility.
8. Damage, Shortages, or Missing Items
If damage or missing items are discovered:
Notify Snyder’s within 48 hours of delivery
Provide photos and order information
We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue through replacement, repair, or credit when appropriate.
9. Freight Shipment Requirements
For freight deliveries:
Shipment must be inspected before driver departure
Delivery receipt must note any damage or shortage
Additional services must be arranged and paid before shipment unless otherwise agreed
Returned cores must be:

Returned in approved containers when required
10. Returns Related to Shipping
